Kelly McKinnon is a licensed professional counselor who earned her undergraduate degree at UW-Madison and her master's degree at UW-Whitewater.
Kelly has over 13 years experience as a therapist working with children and families with trauma and attachment issues, with a particular interest in therapy for parents who are struggling with parenting children with challenging issues.
Kelly's specialties include trauma, anxiety, grief, school issues, performance anxiety and attachment and adoption issues. Kelly utilizes relaxation; mindfulness; sensory and body awareness; and play, art, and movement interventions in her work with clients. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Brainspotting.
Kelly meets clients where they are emotionally and developmentally, helping them feel safe and supported in their healing.
Amy Roy is a licensed professional counselor with an undergraduate degree in Elementary and Special Education from UW- Whitewater. She also has a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling from UW-Oshkosh.
Amy has over 30 years experience in counseling children, families, and adults. She has also taught parenting classes using a variety of programs: The Nurturing Program, Love and Logic and 1, 2, 3 Magic. She has developed and taught Pre-marriage seminars.
Her specialties include trauma, grief, anxiety, stress management, parenting, depression, divorce, attention deficit disorder, and family related mental health issues. She has been trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR,) and Brain Spotting.
Her counseling goal is to listen, acknowledge, provide feedback and be supportive as people share their journeys, work through issues, and fulfill their goals.
